My answer was "armchair travel," and I've done a lot of it in my time. And I see it as totally worthwhile and fun, even if the trip never actually happens. I'm also a fan of virtual shopping: going to a catalog or online store, making lots of decisions about what I want, adding them to my shopping cart or dogearing the pages, then closing the browser, or throwing the catalog away. In grad school, I decided that just because I didn't have any money, it didn't mean I had to forego the fun of shopping and making decisions about what I wanted! I love that you’re blogging more.
